Earlier this week Channel Seven announced The Real Full Monty: Ladies’ Night would be coming to Australian screens off the back of the recent success of the men’s version.

While the rumour mill has since gone into overdrive with speculation of which female celebs will dare to bare for the TV charity special, there’s one star who denies reports she’s going to be a part of it.

“It’s complete fabrication,” Kerri-Anne Kennerley tells Be. “Never going to happen but great rumour.”

Kerri-Anne, who attended Wednesday night’s David Jones Spring/Summer fashion launch, was recently listed by The Daily Telegraph as one of the names being considered for the show’s lineup.

Last month a string of male stars, including Kris Smith, Shane Jacobson, Matt Cooper, Jett Kenny, Campbell Brown, Sam Mac, Brian Taylor and Todd McKenney, stripped down for The Real Full Monty to raise awareness about men’s health issues.

While the male stars bared all, the ladies’ night version is believed to be more modest.

“It will be more burlesque than striptease,” a source told The Daily Telegraph about the show’s concept, but it seems Kerri-Anne’s just not a fan.

“Oh that’s right, a good cause and people being naked,” the 64-year tells Be.

“Just let me think about that. The only way to legitimise it [going naked] is by tacking on a good cause but some people see through that. But good on them, if they are going.”

Channel Seven chose not to comment when contacted by Be.
