Kendra Wilkinson wasn't at her best while filming her former real estate show, Kendra Sells Hollywood.

Looking back on the now-canceled Max series' two-season run, Wilkinson, 39, admitted she was struggling with her mental health at the time.

“I feel a little regret filming my last show because I wasn't really ready. I was a little bit off mentally,” the real estate agent said while speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards on Monday, Nov. 18.

She continued, “I was a little off mentally and I wasn't prepared to be on a camera just yet. I wasn't fully healed or there yet. Now I feel there.”

Wilkinson previously opened up about her mental health difficulties that left her in the emergency room following a panic attack back in September 2023.

“I was dying of depression,” she told PEOPLE in a candid interview in January 2024, months after her hospitalization. “I was hitting the end of my life, and I went into psychosis. I felt like I wasn’t strong enough to live anymore.”

“It was the lowest place I’ve ever been in my life. I felt like I had no future. I couldn’t see in front of my depression,” she continued, adding that she hoped her fledgeling career in real estate would give her a fresh start.

After passing her real estate exam in 2020, Wilkinson announced she would be starring in her own real estate show in 2021.

Kendra Sells Hollywood premiered in November 2021 and aired for two seasons, however it was not picked up for a third season, Wilkinson confirmed to PEOPLE this past January.

The reality star later announced in a since-deleted Instagram post that she was quitting real estate in May 2024.

“My relationship with real estate has come to an end at this moment and I’m on to new projects,” she wrote in the caption. "Real estate is hard and I might get back into it again down the line. For now, it's a little stressful in my life so I’m focusing on myself and kids and getting my mental health good again so I have the strength to get back in it with a good head."

Despite that statement, Wilkinson clarified to PEOPLE months later that she didn’t actually quit the industry and that her Instagram post was just a result of a "really bad day.”

“So I did announce that I’d be stepping away from real estate, but that was just a really bad day in my life and I should’ve never probably Instagrammed that I’m quitting, but I did on accident like an idiot so I made a huge mistake,” she said in September.

“But I’m back in it,” she added. “I have so many deals I’m working on right now.”
