Fans don't need to come for Morgan Evans in order to support Kelsea Ballerini.

The country star is currently touring in support of her latest album, Patterns, and she called out the crowd for slamming Evans while performing the Rolling Up the Welcome Mat track "Penthouse" at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla. on Feb. 23.

"Penthouse" features lyrics about moving on after the end of a relationship, and fans passionately sing along to the emotional lyrics of the song's bridge: "It hurts putting s--- in a box / And now we don't talk / And it stings rolling up the welcome mat / Knowing you got half."

According to the comments section, some fans also shouted profanities directed toward Evans during the post-lyric pause.

"Seriously, we’re three years past it, everything’s fine now," added Ballerini, who filed for divorce from Evans in August 2022 after nearly five years of marriage.

"I sing the song for you now, it’s not about me anymore, please," she continued. "Alright, for everyone that’s moving forward with their life, will you sing this with me?"

Ballerini's tour continues with its next show at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on Feb. 26. She'll then make stops in cities including Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and more before wrapping April 13 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Ballerini recently spoke to Byrdie about date nights with Stokes, noting that staying in is just as special as glamorous outings.

“Things that seem mundane suddenly become like, ‘Okay, you’re such an important part of my mundanity now,'” she told the outlet. "And it doesn’t take away from the moments that are big, like getting to show up to a premiere for him or him being at Madison Square Garden."
