Kelly Clarkson's Fans Lose It After Unconventional Guest Spotted on Set

If you're one of the many people to become completely obsessed with a certain baby hippo in recent days, you're not alone—it seems even Kelly Clarkson has Moo Deng fever.

On Thursday, Sept. 19, The Kelly Clarkson Show's official Instagram account shared a photo of the talk show's set featuring a very special guest standing on top of the couch: Moo Deng, the baby pygmy hippo from Thailand who's taking the internet by storm.

"MOO DENG?! What are YOU doing here!?!" read the post's caption.

Of course the photo wasn't real, but that didn't stop fans from playing along in the comments.

"Moo Deng just wants to hear new Kellyokes ❤️❤️," wrote one Instagram user.

"Moo is an icon," raved a second person.

"I think Moo Deng is ready for season 6 of the kelly clarkson show just like the rest of us 🥰🥰😆😆," suggested a third fan.

"We only have legends in the building! 😂," commented someone else.

Alas, Moo Deng probably won't be visiting any American talk shows anytime soon. The popular baby pygmy hippopotamus, whose quirky behavior and hilarious expressions have made her a star, lives at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in eastern Thailand about two hours from Bangkok.

According to USA Today, since Moo Deng's rise to fame, the zoo went from approximately 800 visitors per day to between 3,000 and 4,000 on weekdays, with almost 20,000 visitors showing up over one weekend. As a result of the surge in attendance, the zoo implemented a five-minute time limit for Moo Deng viewings.
