Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman truly are #CoupleGoals.
And they’ve just taken their “goals” status to the next level as Keith has praised his wife for being an amazing mum to their two daughters Sunday Rose, 9, and seven-year-old Faith Margaret.
Pass us the tissues please because this is just too cute. Even better, Mother’s Day is right around the corner on May 13.
“She’s an extraordinary mum, she really, really is,” Keith told One Country in a recent interview.
“Those girls are very, very lucky, and I feel very lucky that the children I should have in this world happen to be with Nic.”
The 50-year-old gushed about how patient Nicole is with their children and is able to see them as “people and not just little kids”.
“Her attention to honouring their feelings and listening to them right from day one – really being attentive to that is not how I was raised at all, so it’s really beautiful to see,” the country singer said.
The couple – who tied the knot in Sydney in 2006 – recently performed a duet together at a Nashville Spotify event.
But Keith revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last month exactly how he managed to get Nic up on stage.
It was all down to the 50-year-old actress heckling him.
“She regrets it now,” the musician admitted.
Keith explained someone in the audience had asked about his song called ‘Parallel Lines’.
He was discussing the song with the audience when “from the back of the room, this woman goes, ‘Play the song!’.” It was, of course, Nicole.
“I was like, I know that voice anywhere, and of course it’s my wife heckling me basically,” Keith explained. “I said, ‘Will you come up and do it with me?’.”
Keith “never thought” Nic would get up on stage with him, but unbeknownst to him, she did.
Let’s face it, couples who duet together, stay together.
