Fitness queen Kayla Itsines has announced she and fiancé Tobi Pearce have decided to separate as a couple.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news Kayla assured her followers and the Sweat community the pair remained close friends and business partners.
“After eight years together, Tobi and I have come to the difficult decision to separate as a couple,” she wrote, sharing an image of her and Tobi together.
“We will always be family, and remain good friends and devoted parents to Arna.
“We have grown up together in Adelaide, sharing a lifetime of experiences and special memories from moving into our first apartment and starting SWEAT from our lounge room to becoming parents to our beautiful daughter.
“Our friendship remains strong as we parent Arna together and run Sweat as business partners. Thank you for your support and kindness during this time.”
“In that second, we heard her cry for the first time, the doctors and nurses examined her quickly, bought her over to us and said ‘she is absolutely perfect’,” Kayla wrote in the post sharing the news at the time.
Tobi is the founder and CEO of ‘The world’s biggest female fitness community’ Sweat, and also lists himself as the co-creator of the BBG programs.
According to the Young Rich list in 2017, Kayla and Tobi are worth a combined fortune of $64 million.
Most recently, Kayla launched a brand new BBG Zero Equipment workout program to help women around the world exercising in isolation or without access to a gym.
“Listening to the needs of women, I created BBG Zero Equipment to help make working out at home as simple as possible by removing the need for equipment and giving women the tools and confidence to workout effectively using their bodyweight,” Kayla said at the time.
If you want a taste of what to expect from a typical Kayla Itsines no equipment workout, she recently shared two-weeks worth of BBG workouts exclusively for Yahoo Lifestyle readers.
