Karol G, Kylie Minogue and Victoria Monét are among the night's big honorees

Wednesday night's Billboard Women in Music Awards was the place to be.

Some of the year's hottest acts — including honorees Karol G, Victoria Monét and Kylie Minogue — hit the red carpet in Inglewood, California, before the performance-packed show, helmed by host Tracee Ellis Ross and an A-list roster of presenters.

"I love doing anything in celebration of women, so that's what tonight's about. I'm here, we're going to celebrate and be in service of that gorgeousness," Ross told Billboard ahead of the show. "It's always fun to celebrate music because we all live by it, love it — it's the soundtrack of our lives."
