Kate Middleton 'put out' by 'gorgeous Hollywood star' Meghan Markle

They may have put on a united front on Christmas Day, but according to royal commentators, a feud is still bubbling between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.

In fact, it’s now being claimed that the 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge is ‘put out’ by all the attention ‘glamorous’ Meghan Markle has been getting since she joined the family last year.

Royal expert, Carole Malone, appeared on UK documentary, Kate V Meghan: Princesses at War, to claim that Kate is was used to being the ‘young gorgeous girl that everyone has been photographing’, until Meghan arrived on the scene, according to New Idea.

Carole claims Kate was ‘a little put out when this gorgeous, American Hollywood star arrived on the scene.”

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is mum to three adorable kids, was always seen as the captivating member of the family, until ‘outspoken feminist’ Meghan started dating Prince Harry.

In early December, reports started to surface that there was rift at Kensington Palace, between the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex.

It’s believed their blow-up was the reason behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shock decision to move to Frogmore House next year.

“Kate and Meghan are very different people. They don’t really get on,” a source told the Daily Mail.

It’s also been reported that the feud between the two all started because the Duchess of Cambridge didn’t like the way Meghan spoke to members of her staff in the lead up to her and Prince Harry’s May wedding.

“That’s unacceptable, they’re my staff and I speak to them,” mum-of-three Kate is supposed to have said, according to an insider who spoke to The Sun.

That same person also added: “It’s a tricky situation but it was a one-off and they [Kate and Meghan] are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach”.

Just days later, it was revealed that staff at the palace had begun to call Meghan ‘Duchess Difficult’ due to her demanding attitude.

It came after it was reported that a number of Meghan’s staff quit their jobs at Kensington Palace, reportedly due to her ‘diva demands’.

Australian, Samantha Cohen, who has worked for the family for 17 years, also reportedly handed in her resignation, just weeks after Meghan’s personal assistant, known only as Melissa, also left.

50-year-old Samantha, who attended the couple’s May 19th wedding, used to work closely with the Queen and is said to have been one of her ‘most trusted’ aides.

Samantha was said to have been tasked with teaching the new Duchess all about royal etiquette.

“Sam will be a huge loss,” a source told The Times.

“Going forward, Meghan might need someone cut from a slightly different cloth to traditional courtiers, who is not a career civil servant or royal insider.”

Meghan has reportedly “ripped up the rule book” when it comes to traditions in the royal family.

This includes ‘bombarding’ aides with texts after her daily routine of waking up at 5am, according to the Mail on Sunday.

An alleged royal insider claims she messages aides up to seven times a day with ideas about her role, and is so enthusiastic that she’s been organising a number of ‘undercover’ missions to meet members of the British public who are associated with ‘good causes’.
