Kate Middleton Makes Surprise Public Appearance After Finishing Chemotherapy
Kate Middleton delighted royal fans this week while making an unexpected appearance at a ballet performance in London.
The Princess of Wales, who has been living a mostly private life over the past several months while undergoing cancer treatments, revealed earlier this month that she is now cancer free and done with chemotherapy.
And it appears that Middleton, 42, is already jumping right back into her public life.
The wife of Prince William showed up to the Sadler's Wells Theatre in London on Thursday, Sept. 26 to see a performance of Akram Khan's Giselle—and the princess seems to have thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) later in the day, Middleton gave a shoutout to the ballet performers she got to see, while sharing a snapshot of one of the group's elaborate routines.
"Congratulations and thank you to @ENBallet and @Sadlers_Wells," she posted in the caption, while calling the performance "wonderfully powerful, moving and inspiring."
"Creativity at its best!" the mother of three added, before signing off with just her first initial, "C."

Fans online were ecstatic to hear that Middleton was out and about on Thursday as part of her slow return to public life, which she has been easing back into since finishing up her cancer treatments.
"Catherine has had 2 works meetings this week & now she attended ballet at Sadler's. She is getting better & stronger everyday," one X user insisted.
"Oh this is an unexpected post!" someone else added. "We know Catherine loves the ballet in her personal life but doesn't normally engage with it like that."
But so many of her supporters were happy for Middleton for having the opportunity to enjoy her favorite activities once again, including one person who told the princess, "So glad you were able to go!"
Another person said it is "good to see what Catherine loves doing the most," especially after the tumultuous year she's had.
"Glad you enjoyed yourself," someone else wrote, calling the ballet outing "a nice little pick me up after all thats happened."
