Karl Stefanovic's hilarious Easter fail: 'Like father, like daughter'
Family holidays are all about love, light and parenting fails, as Karl Stefanovic shared on Good Friday.
The Today show host posted a hilarious photo of his almost-two-year-old daughter Harper giving him the sourest look from her seat in her pram.
“Argh Easter. A truly spiritual time,” the 47-year-old dad of four captioned the post.
Family, friends and fans were quick to have a laugh at the sweet snap with his sister-in-law and Today Extra star Sylvia Jeffreys chastising, “What did you do to deserve that look?”
Others pointed out that the expression looks somewhat familiar, with one person saying “Is that a Daddy look???”, and another adding, “Like father like daughter”.
A third wrote, “I think she’s been taking pointers off you @karlstefanovic_ I swear I’ve seen this same look directed at Ali in the morning,” referring to Karl’s co-host Ali Langdon.
And they weren’t wrong, as Karl did in fact make a very similar face on Today just the day before when he got a little taste of Ali’s singing skills.
The team had been chatting about Mariah Carey’s new online singing lessons when it was suggested Ali belt out a line or two.
However, her screechy rendition of Mariah’s 90s hit Fantasy didn’t go down too well and Karl - whose expression made his displeasure very clear - put a swift end to the conversation, saying, “From all of us here at Today, happy Easter.”

Just last week, Karl’s wife Jasmine shared a much cheerier glimpse of the Stefanovics’ family life when she posted a cute video of Karl wheeling Harper around on a suitcase.
The trio were on their way to Merimbula, on the NSW South Coast, to celebrate Jasmine’s sister’s cowboy themed 30th birthday and Karl and Harper were both wearing matching cowboy hats as they beamed at the camera.
Young Harper will have a birthday of her own in a couple of weeks, with the toddler entering the ‘terrible twos’ in May.
Karl also has three older children, Jackson, 22, Ava Willow, 16, and River, 15, from his 21-year marriage to Cassandra Thorburn.
