Kane Brown Says He and Wife Katelyn Are "The Perfect Combination of Different"
Country Living recently caught up with multi-platinum country music star Kane Brown, before the last stop of his U.S. leg of the "In The Air Tour"to discuss life on the road, his close-knit family, community service, football, and his favorite Crown Royal sippers.
Crown Royal teamed up with Kane to celebrate country music and military veterans as the official whisky of the "In The Air" tour. The partnership between the star and award-winning whisky brand includes serving up delicious signature cocktails like (Kane Brown’s Royal Ranch Water) all tour long and inviting fans to nominate the veterans in their lives for a chance to win the ultimate fan experience. More than 1,500 personal submissions were entered, and one lucky veteran was treated to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in Arlington, Texas. As part of the “That Deserves A Crown with Kane Brown” sweepstakes, Crown Royal and Kane Brown hosted the veteran grand prize winner for a VIP experience before the final stateside tour date on the artist’s sold-out tour, thanking them for their service and honoring their sacrifices.
The country artist and wife, Katelyn Jae Brown, are doting parents of a growing family that includes daughters Kingsley, 4, Kodi, 2, and son Krewe, 4 months. When asked how he balances the demands of his music career, family, and life on the road, Brown remarked, “I was raised right, and my wife is a boss at home and holds us down.” He said, “I feel like we are the perfect combination of different to make everything work.”
Brown received the Country Champion Award at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Grand Ole Opry House last week for his ongoing service to nonprofit organizations. We asked about the big honor and his extensive involvement with charitable organizations such as Boys & Girls Club of America, Oasis, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Kane said, “I don’t think I should receive a trophy, but I think about it as a positive [honor] and a way for people to find out about these nonprofits.” Adding that, “Hopefully, it will inspire [others] to get involved.” Visit beahero.kanebrownmusic.com to learn about Brown’s community service efforts and find ways to support local nonprofits in your community.
Brown says one of the most memorable moments of this summer’s tour run includes his travels in Sydney, Australia. He remarked, “I will say that I’m not the most touristy person, but I went on a sunset boat ride in Sydney and it was probably most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.” His tour is taking him back to Australia, but he's still keeping his eye on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs. When asked if he'll be attending any games in person this season, his response was two words, “National Championship.” Time will tell if his beloved Bulldogs will make it to the College Football National Championship game in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 20, 2025.
Kane appears to have new music on the horizon and shared lyrics to a song dedicated to his Pepaw on his Instagram page with a note saying he “cannot wait to record” it. He recently revealed he already has songs lined up for his forthcoming album with his leading lady, too. US Weekly reported, “There’s two [duets with Katelyn] on this album,” and Brown said, “There’s one for country and one for pop.” Kane will continue the remainder of his global run for the "In the Air Tour" which wraps on November 25, in Perth, Australia.
