Kaia Gerber Reveals That She and Ayo Edebiri Got Matching Tattoos: 'It's Pretty Fresh'
The 'Bottoms' costars got their new ink after Edebiri's turn as host on 'Saturday Night Live'
Kaia Gerber and Ayo Edebiri have leveled up their friendship with some new ink!
On Thursday, Gerber, 22, revealed in an interview with E! News that she and her Bottoms costar and friend Edebiri, 28, recently got some matching ink.
“It's pretty fresh,” Gerber told the outlet, while on the red carpet at the premiere of her new series Palm Royale. “I went to see [Edebiri] on SNL, and she did such a wonderful job. The next day I thought she would just stay in bed and kind of relax after what I know is a very intense week, but she was like, ‘We're getting tattoos.’ "

“And whatever she says, I do,” she added.
Edebiri hosted SNL for the first time on Feb. 3, alongside musical guest Jennifer Lopez.
The daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford also joked that The Bear star is “not speaking” to her following the announcement that Gerber would be reuniting with their Bottoms costar Rachel Sennott in SNL 1975 — the forthcoming Jason Reitman-helmed movie about the beginning of SNL.
Edebiri “is very upset," Gerber said with a laugh, adding: “I'm gonna have some reparations to do there.”
Earlier this month, it was announced that Gerber would be starring in the film as Chevy Chase’s ex-wife Jacqueline Carlin — and that she would be joining a young cast playing comedy greats, including Nicholas Braun as Jim Henson, Dylan O'Brien as Dan Aykroyd, Lamorne Morris as Garrett Morris and Sennott as Rosie Shuster.
Gerber even asked her Palm Royale costar Kristen Wiig (who was on the long-running comedy show from 2005 to 2012) for advice and stories from her time on SNL.

“Oh my gosh, I mean, the whole time we were shooting — I've always been a fan of SNL, so I would always in between takes be like, ‘Please, tell me all your stories,’ " she told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere.
"I've been a fan of Kristen's," she continued. "I think her work on that show was brilliant, so yeah, I mean she gave me some advice and I'm also just very excited to go back to the '70s."
“I just think Jason Reitman is a genius, and [it's] such an incredible cast,” she added.

Gerber also opened up to E! News at the Palm Royale premiere about working with Wiig, 50, on the set of their 1960s-set comedy-drama series.
“I was just absorbing all of it,” she told the outlet. “What I love about this cast so much is that all of them just lead by example. I saw the professionalism. I saw that none of them took themselves too seriously.”
“We made a very fun show,” she noted.
Palm Royale streams on Apple TV+ March 20.
