The couple supported Theroux’s appearance at the ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ premiere at the Venice Film Festival

Kicking off the festivities in Italy was the Aug. 28 Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere, and the pair celebrated the film with coordinating all-white looks.
The 53-year-old actor and filmmaker (who plays Rory in the sequel) looked dapper in a tailored cream blazer worn over a crisp white button-up shirt. On the bottom, he wore sleek black trousers and Chelsea boots.
New York-based actress Bloom, 30, opted for an elegant white dress with a high neckline that accentuated her slicked-back updo.

While signing autographs for fans at the premiere in Italy, Theroux chatted with PEOPLE exclusively on the carpet, sharing that his favorite things about Venice are “the people and the festival, obviously.”
The Leftovers star added that his girlfriend was also enjoying the city and that they planned on “vacationing a little” in addition to attending the event.

This marks Theroux and Bloom’s second major red carpet event since they made their major red carpet debut in March at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty. At the time, the two posed arm-in-arm for the cameras and showcased their matching monochromatic black looks. They previously made their relationship Instagram official in December 2023.
The actors have been building their romance outside of the public eye.
"There's something to, once you're out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in," Theroux — who was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2015 until their divorce in 2018 — told Esquire in May 2023. "Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship."
