The who's who of Australia's A-list stepped out in the name of charity on Thursday night to attend the Sydney Children's Hospital's swanky Gold Dinner event.
Among the celebs at the Sydney soirée was former foreign minister Julie Bishop, who turned heads in a figure-hugging black gown and a whopping $265,000 worth of diamond jewellery.
The 64-year-old sparkled in French jewellery house Van Cleef & Arpels' white gold and diamond 'Magic Alhambra' necklace ($224k) and matching earrings ($41k). Even when pre-owned, these luxury pieces still cost a pretty penny.
The ex-politician was accompanied by her boyfriend, David Panton, who was equally chic in a black tux. In between posing for photos, Julie took a moment to straighten her beau's bow tie.
The Gold Dinner, which took place in a custom-built perspex structure on the airfield at Sydney airport, raises funds to support mental health research and care at the Sydney Children's Hospital.
Guests were treated to a decadent Italian menu that included crudo of tuna, kingfish and salmon with a citrus dressing, wagyu beef cheek and classic tiramisu dessert.
Bringing a touch of Hollywood to the evening were the Hemsworth brothers Chris and Liam, who were joined by their partners Elsa Pataky and Gabriella Brooks respectively.
Also on hand at the fancy affair were Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne, veteran entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins and his girlfriend, Nicole Dale, and Olympic icon Ian Thorpe.
Today host Karl Stefanovic attended solo, without wife Jasmine Yarborough, while Lego Master's Hamish Blake had his beauty mogul wife, Zoë Foster Blake.
