E! may be known for it's strong rapport with Hollywood's A-List - but at this year's SAG Awards, it was the introduction of not one - but two - mani-cams - that had some of Hollywood's biggest stars visibly peaved.
Mani-cams, in case you're not familiar are those awkward, box-like structures in which actresses are asked to parade their fingers to show off both jewels and manicures during awards shows. They've become standard practice on the red carpet for E! - but after a trio of A-list stars refused to comply when asked to participate at this year's SAGs, things got awkward:
“No, I’m not doing that,” Julianne Moore told E!’s Maria Menounos when asked to have a go with the mani-cam.

Later, Jennifer Aniston echoed the refusal, simply stating, “No thank you” before walking away.
And third times a charm - Reese Witherspoon, who’d pulled Sophia Vergara on stage a minute earlier, said no by shoving the Modern Family star into the mani cam, visibly moving herself out of the way to avoid being asked again by Menunos.
It's not the first time the mani-cam has been questioned. At the 2014 SAG Awards, it was Australian Cate Blanchett who responded to E!’s manicam request with, “Do you do that to the guys?”
