Allen announced his engagement to Hailee Steinfeld on Friday, Nov. 29
Josh Allen's ex-girlfriend Brittany Williams found herself in the midst of some online drama days after the Buffalo Bills quarterback announced his engagement to Hailee Steinfeld.
Williams, 28, claimed on Friday, Nov. 29 that her Instagram account was hacked after screenshots circulated online showing her calling Allen, 28, a "brain dead CTE athlete" in a since-deleted comment.
“My accounts have been hacked several times tonight,” Williams claimed in a post on her Instagram Stories on Friday.
Williams added, “Trying to get it resolved. If anyone has any tips please Imk 🙏🏻🥹.”

The comment came in response to a user who wrote to Williams on a different Instagram post, asking, "Haven't found the next pro athlete yet?"
Williams' appeared to write, "luckily my boyfriend owns a team and doesn't play for one. 🙏🏻 don't have to be with another brain dead CTE athlete."
Fans quickly screenshotted the comment from Williams' account and later uploaded the image to Reddit and X (formerly known as Twitter).
The comment was deleted after fans began discussing the implication on social media. One user on Reddit noted that the comment Williams was replying to was posted three days before her account responded to it, while another questioned why she'd need help from her followers if she was already able to log back in to her account to post about being hacked.
Williams, a pilates instructor, and Allen broke up in 2023 after dating for six years. The pair have known each other since they were kids and started dating in 2017.
