Numerous high street brands, including M&S and John Lewis, have created rainbow-inspired items in recent months to help support NHS Charities Together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Following the success of its sell-out Rainbow NHS mug, which sold out in two days, John Lewis & Partner’s have added another charitable product to its collection, this time in the form of a trendy pair of trainers.

The longstanding department store has created the limited-edition Elma Rainbow Stripe NHS Charities Together Leather Trainers, which will only be available for four weeks and will see 10% of proceeds go towards the charity.

The trainers feature a shimmery multicoloured rainbow, which has become a symbol to show support to NHS workers and volunteers working in the coronavirus pandemic, along the side of the footwear item.

The leather design, which was first released last week, also feature a branded John Lewis & Partners stud detail on the heel.

The chic design does not only supporting a great cause, but they are super stylish, versatile and are reasonably priced too, as they retail for £79.

The trainers already appear to be hugely popular with shoppers, as the website states over 100 trainers have sold within the last 48 hours.

However, customers will have to be quick if they want to snap up the new release, because they will only be available to buy for the next four weeks - or until stock lasts.

For those who want to support NHS Charities Together, can continue to do so, as the John Lewis & Partners Rainbow NHS Charities Together Mug is still available to buy.

The kitchenware was released on 16 May, and proved to be a huge hit with customers as it sold out within two days, although it has since been restocked due to popular demand.
