Joan Baez's granddaughter asks for warning about singer's potential sex scenes in Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown”

Joan Baez's granddaughter has asked fans for a warning about potential sex scenes involving a fictionalized version of her legendary grandma in the new Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.

Singer Jasmine Harris shared a comical TikTok video Saturday in which she asked her followers to give her a heads-up about sensual activity involving actress Monica Barbaro's version of Baez and star Timothée Chalamet's interpretation of Dylan.

"Hi besties ab to go see a complete unknown w my grandma someone plz warn me if there r sex scenes," Harris wrote in her video over the weekend, prompting one viewer to assure her there's nothing explicit: "Just implied ones but nothing on screen," the fan wrote.

Harris eventually clarified in the comments that she wasn't able to attend the movie with Baez, who's now 83.

"Wait hi guys we ended up not having time," Harris wrote. "But i’m pretty sure we r going next weekend, i’ve seen all the messages and i will update !"

Baez has appeared on Harris' TikTok page before, notably in a 2022 post, which Harris captioned, "showing my grandma the song a frat boy wrote about me."

The singer-songwriter's connection to Dylan is chronicled in filmmaker James Mangold's Golden Globe-nominated project, which follows Dylan's rise to stardom and his relationships with the likes of Pete Seeger (Edward Norton) and Sylvie Russo (Elle Fanning), a dramatized iteration of Dylan's real-life former girlfriend, Suze Rotolo, who died in 2011.
