While ultimate 00s icon Jennifer Lopez may have graduated from ultra-low-rise jeans and pageboy caps to full-time glamour and chic-ery, her vibe is usually of the modern, simple or sex bomb variety (in any combination). But her latest look is full-blown vintage ✨glamour✨ and we are obsessed.
Jen is in Paris for couture fashion week. After her micro-bob at Schiaparelli, she just did a short-hair 180 for the Valentino show and debuted an 'old money' bob straight out of the Jackie Kennedy handbook. From Jackie O to JLo, the look is *chef's kiss*.
The work of the one and only Chris Appleton, this flicky delight was curled up to perfection and packed with bouffant-worthy volume, all pulled together with a black velvet ribbon. Combined with the black dress and the sparkling diamonds it's giving Breakfast at Tiffany's.
But it wasn't the only look the pair cooked up together, and clearly they're having a ribbon moment. For the Elie Saab show her hair was styled in a softer curl, parted to the side and finished with a dreamy moss-green velvet bow that is legit making me swoon as I type.
It's miles away from JLo's usually XXL bouncy blowouts but she looks bloody beautiful as a retro hun. I mean, look at that face. She looks like a princess.
