A high-end jeweller has been mercilessly mocked online after posting a new design to its Facebook page.
Well-known jeweller, Theo Fennell, uploaded the unique grey design on Monday, which features a pink stone in the middle.
According to the description, the piece, which was designed by Lukas Grewenig as part of the company’s Gilded Youth initiative, was inspired by ‘the way a goldsmith assesses a stone by placing it between their index and middle finger’.
However, people online just couldn’t help comparing the curves of the piece to a woman’s vagina.
“Ummmmm…. looks like lady parts. Don’t know anyone who wants to wear a bejeweled vulva around their neck,” one person said.
“This reminds me of something… I can’t put my finger on it at the moment, but it’s on the tip of my tongue,” another person joked.
“Why does it look like a woman’s hooha?” another person said.
Others couldn’t believe the design went the whole way through production without somebody saying that it looks like a woman’s body part.
The jokes continued in the comments section, with one person saying: “Can I also order matching boob earrings and a wiener bracelet? Preferably in rose gold, please and thank you.”
Another person said: “Well this is one way to ensure your Facebook page goes viral.”
The comment shave since been turned off on the company’s Isntagram page, however, they are still on the Facebook page, which has over 13,000 comments so far.
