A flash sale celebrating Jetstar’s 15th birthday is sending travel-lovers into meltdown as the budget airline promises round-trip tickets with the return fare thrown in for free.

Yes, free.

This is not a drill, the sale runs until midnight tomorrow and the incredible trips on offer will have you drafting a leave request faster than you can say ‘take my money’.

Travellers who are lucky enough to nab a ticket can travel to Hawaii from $360, or pop into Tokyo for the same price.

That’s a return fare.

I cannot stress this enough, return fares.

A trip across the pond to the land of the world sexiest accent and back will set you back less than $200.

Flights to Christchurch and Aukland start from $197, and for slightly more you can get to Queenstown and back for just over $250.

If you’ve set your sights on Asia, you can hit the hottest spot in the South East for less than $300; return flights to Ho Chi Minh start from $299.

Thailand and Bali are also in, lucky travellers will be able to hit up the tourist hot spots of Phuket and Bali without breaking the bank.

Flights to Australia’s favourite island start from $179 out of Perth, and Melburnian’s can glide into Phuket for a cool $179.

It’s not all beaches and holidays however, the deal extends to domestic flights at staggeringly low prices.

If you want to visit family but have a handy escape at hand you can fly Sydney to Gold Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Byron all for less than $100 round trip.

Alternatively, from Melbourne you can get to Launceston and back for only $65.

Of course it comes with a catch; the budget airline does not provide meals or check-in baggage allowance.

At those prices though, I for one am happy to pack a sandwich.

The insane sale is sure to send travellers into overdrive so we recommend you get in quick.

Paired with these tips to save up to $12,000 on accomodation, it’s just one more way Aussies can slash the cost of their holidays.

You can see the full list of deals on Jetstar’s website, and prep yourself for potential flight hazards here.

The sale runs until May 2nd 11:59pm.
