$19 Jetstar sale: Here's the full list of flights

Qantas and its budget brand Jetstar have launched a massive sale in a bid to get Australians back on flights after the coronavirus restrictions.

The headline act is 10,000 Jetstar seats that will be sold for just $19. Overall there will be 200,000 discounted seats across Qantas and Jetstar.

Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said already 400,000 seats had sold in the past fortnight as state travel restrictions have eased.

“There is huge pent up demand for air travel, with people wanting to get away after months of being stuck at home," he said.

"Our research tells us more than 75 per cent of Australians intend to fly in the next six months."

The $19 fares include Melbourne to Sydney, Sydney to Gold Coast, Melbourne to Byron Bay, Brisbane to Whitsunday Coast and Adelaide to Cairns. Other discounts see flights like Sydney to Hamilton Island ($79) and Brisbane to Darwin ($79) heavily reduced.

The sale starts 9am Friday June 19 and runs until 11:59pm AEST Monday June 22, unless sold out earlier.

While Western Australia and Tasmania destinations are not yet included, the company indicated they would be added to the sale once state border restrictions are eased.

“To give customers extra peace of mind, we’ve increased flexibility on bookings, and implemented a range of measures to ensure a safe environment at airports and onboard aircraft," said Joyce.

Travellers are reminded Jetstar is a budget airline, so the base fare doesn't include food, entertainment or seat selection.
