Jessica Alba is officially in her celebratory era thanks to longtime friend and fellow actress Eva Longoria. Roughly one month after filing for divorce from her husband Cash Warren, the mother of three took a whirlwind trip down to Miami to ring in the big 5-0 with Longoria, whose birthday is on March 15. The star-studded festivities included a particularly fabulous looking party on a boat.
"Grateful to be in Miami celebrating my dear friend @evalongoria," Alba wrote in her Instagram caption. "You are a force—endlessly inspiring, multi-hyphenate, hilarious, generous, real, full of life and the ultimate #Chingona Cheers to another lap around the sun! I love you sis!!! Besos xxx"
Longoria posted her own snapshots from the weekend, which, apart from the yacht gathering, included a private party at Casadonna with custom Casa Del Sol Tequila cocktails and a performance by Becky G. "Grateful to have begun celebrating my birthday (as it will be a month long 🤭)" she wrote on Instagram. "I felt so loved! Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! Ready for this new decade."
Two days prior, the Desperate Housewives actress also shared a sultry portrait of her wearing nothing but a white button-up. She captioned the post "This is 50."

Longoria's birthday party was not Alba's first outing as a newly single woman, of course. Last month, she enjoyed a Super Bowl girls night with her lookalike daughters, Honor and Haven. Prior to that, she also attended the FireAid Benefit Concert in Los Angeles solo, which marked her first public appearance post-split.
Since news of the separation first broke in January, Alba has released multiple emotional statements concerning the breakup. "I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years—both as an individual and in partnership with Cash," Alba wrote in one Instagram post. "I'm proud of how we've grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals."
"We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family," she continued. "Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time."
