MAFS' Jess hits back over leaked 'cheating' footage

Married at First Sight’s Jessika Power made a name for herself on this year’s season with her infidelity on the show, and now her ex of two months is suggesting that has spilt over into her day to day life.

In a shocking Instagram post, Jess’s ex and fellow former MAFS star Nick Furphy, shared a video of Jess kissing a man on a motorcycle, on what he said was the eve of his birthday, which was while the pair was together.

Now Jess has hit back slamming the video, saying it was actually taken well before she ever met Nick.

Jess said the video was filmed a year and a half ago, before she had found fame as a MAFS villain.

“My brother and I went to Bali in June last year, even before the show, and that’s what that video is from,” she told Who.

Nick, of course, told a different story – after he was sent the video via a direct message on Instagram.

Nick’s says birthday cheating

“I’m never one to cause drama or throw someone under the bus but when it comes to cheating I have zero tolerance,” he wrote in the video’s caption, explaining that ‘someone’ had messaged him the footage earlier today.

He specified that he believed it had been taken on the 24th of August this year, while they were in Bali together.

“The day before my birthday I was in Bali at Mrs Sippy with Jess and Tamara and some other friends. 7.30 that night the girls left for what was meant to be 20 minutes,” he wrote.

“I didn’t see Jess until 9 the next morning... Not really the best way to spend your birthday morning.”

The video appears to have been recorded from a man called Joely Martin’s Instagram page, and although it has since been deleted from his feed, photos on his account suggest he is often in Bali.

Jess follows Joely’s Instagram page and told Who she’s known him for years.

“He uploaded it on his Instagram last night as a joke,” she explained.

Jess and Nick split two months ago, following reports of a nasty public fallout after the Bali trip in August.

Both confirmed the split to their respective fans via Instagram.
