Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is in charge of a huge NFL team, but he also has a big family at home.

The NFL legend is a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren. His daughter Charlotte Jones is a mom to three kids: Haley, Shy Jr. and Paxton, whom she shares with her ex-husband Shy Anderson. Jerry's older son John Stephen Jones (who goes by Stephen) and his wife Karen have four children of their own — Caroline, Jordan, Jessica and John Stephen — while Jerry's younger son Jerry Jones Jr. is a dad to three children: Mary and James, whom he shares with his wife Lori Lemon, and Juliette, whom he welcomed with his former girlfriend Janine Turner.

All of Jerry's children, whom he welcomed with his wife Eugenia “Gene” Jones, are involved with the Cowboys. Now, some of the grandkids are following in the family business either by playing football themselves or working their way up the ladder in the Cowboys organization.

"You get to go through those ups and downs together, and at the end of the day, that family is who's going to be standing at the end of the bed," Jerry told ESPN in 2017. "If you had a chance to spend all of your work time ... with your family, that's quite a blessing."

Jerry's grandkids supported their grandfather in 2017 by attending his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "They always have a way to keep him a lot calmer than maybe the rest of us," Charlotte told ESPN at the event.

Here is everything to know about Jerry Jones’ 10 grandkids: Haley, Shy Jr., Paxton, John Stephen, Caroline, Jordan, Jessica, Mary, James and Juliette.

Charlotte's daughter Haley attended Highland Park High School, where she was involved in lots of athletics, from basketball to cheerleading to lacrosse, becoming the captain of the latter team in her senior year.

After high school, Haley attended the University of Arkansas — like her grandfather — and graduated in 2016 with a degree in recreation and sports management. She used that degree to become a marketing intern and brand coordinator for the Cowboys before becoming the special project officer for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, according to her LinkedIn.

Haley also enjoys competing in triathlons, produces a podcast about the Cowboys Cheerleaders called Just4Kicks, and has a close relationship with her grandfather.

“Happy Birthday to this Hall of Famer!” she wrote on Instagram in 2020. ”Lucky to call you my grandfather! Thankful for you! Happy we were able to celebrate together! Cheers to another year! Love you Papa! 💙.”

Some of Jerry’s grandkids are now starting families of their own.

Shy Jr. announced his engagement in January 2023. “It was truly love at first sight,” he wrote underneath an Instagram photo displaying “Tori will you marry me?” written on a marquee.

He married Tori in May 2024, with the whole family — including Grandpa Jerry — present. Shy Jr. and Tori are now expecting their first child.

Juliette married her Harvard Law classmate, Marcos Mullin, in September 2024.

John Stephen followed in the family's football-playing footsteps

Stephen's namesake son John Stephen — who was born on April 19, 1999 — was a natural athlete, leading his high school football team at Highland Park to two back-to-back Texas State titles.

“I can’t tell you how proud I am that my grandson gets to play football at Highland Park — it's important to me,” Jerry told Fanatics View after John Stephen's second win in 2017. “It's very rewarding, and I just can’t believe it’s happened right here at AT&T stadium.”

One year later, in February 2018, John Stephen committed to the University of Arkansas — the same school his father and grandfather attended — with Jerry by his side.

“I am super pumped to announce that I am committed to The University of Arkansas, " he posted on X (formerly Twitter) at the time. “Thank you to my family for supporting me through this process.”

John Stephen became the starting quarterback in 2019. “I’m so proud of him,” Jerry told 105.3 The Fan. “You can have no one on this planet that appreciates the long journey and the ups and the downs it takes to get there than Old Papa. I’m really proud of him and going to be there to watch his first warmup throw.”

After graduating in 2022, John Stephen began working for the Cowboys as a sales consultant and eventually became the manager of corporate partnership sales, according to his LinkedIn.

Charlotte’s younger son Paxton became the second Jones grandson to be a high school champion.

He played on the Highland Park High School team that won three straight state titles from 2016 to 2018. Then he became a Division I footballer, joining the University of Texas Longhorns in February 2020, per Sports Illustrated.

Despite usually supporting the Longhorn's rivals at Arkansas, Jerry showed up to support his wide receiver grandson at senior night in 2023. The team became Big 12 champs that year, and Paxton graduated in 2024.

“Thank you, Texas‼” he wrote on Instagram after the last game of his college career. “Forever grateful for all the memories I have made with my brothers #chapterclosed. Hookem for life.”

Now, it seems Paxton is starting to work alongside his grandfather. In August 2024, he posted on Instagram about attending the Cowboys' training camp with Jerry and his brother, Shy Jr.

Juliette is a Harvard Law graduate

Jerry Jr. welcomed his daughter Juliette with his then-girlfriend Janine Turner, who paused her acting work to raise their child.

“I stepped back in my career for a while… to raise my beautiful daughter!” she wrote on Instagram. “You don’t get those years back and I don’t regret one minute spending all my time with my baby.”

Juliette attended Rice University, where she got a bachelor's degree in English, philosophy and business, before moving on to Harvard to get her law degree in 2024.

“I’m so proud of you, my daughter Juliette, for graduating Cum Laude from @harvardlaw school!” Turner wrote on Instagram. “It was hard work, and it required tenacity of mind, spirit and soul! You rose to the occasion!! Congratulations!”

Now, Juliette works as an associate at Quinn Emanuel, a business litigation firm, per her LinkedIn.

James and Mary played sports growing up

Jerry Jr. married Lori Lemon — a former equestrian — in 2006. The couple welcomed two children together, James and Mary.

Though the family is very private, the dad of three told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in 2018 that he coached his kids' sports teams — Mary played tennis, soccer and basketball while James played flag football, basketball and soccer.

“We are having a good time and having a good experience and enjoying it,” he said. “The beauty of getting involved in the youth sports is learning to work together as a team and being a part of something that’s not always going to go right and might have some adversity but you just play through it and try to enjoy it.”

In 2017, Jerry was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and he had lots of support from his grandkids. The night before the big day, Jerry and his wife Gene stayed with four of their grandsons: Shy Jr., Paxton, John Stephen and James.

The four boys also joined their granddad in a vintage car at the Hall of Fame parade on the day of the event.
