Just days after ringing in 55 with a Bridgerton-themed birthday party in the Hamptons, Jennifer Lopez swapped out her Regency-wear for Gen Z fashion staples. As the “On the Floor” singer returned to New York City, she tapped back into the Big Apple aesthetic wearing extremely baggy jeans and a pair of white tennis shoes.

The multi-hyphenate, who’s been enjoying her summer in the Hamptons amidst reports of marriage tension with Ben Affleck, has been sporting feminine, breezy summer styles while in the vacation destination. However, she was back to big city power basics on Saturday morning, stepping out in New York wearing a blue and gray chevron-printed blazer with ultra wide leg jeans. Lopez paired the double-breasted jacket with a plain white t-shirt and the Gen Z-loved denim piece, which featured voluminous legs, a low-slung waistline, and buttons in the front. She accessorized with a boxy nude bag, comfortable white sneakers, a large pair of silver hoops, and yellow-tinted aviator sunglasses.

The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” star, who was all smiles as she left her hotel, beat the early morning with a coffee in her right hand, a casual topknot, and glowy simple makeup. While Lopez didn’t celebrate her 55th birthday with Affleck in the Hamptons, she could be seen sporting her wedding rings.

It looks like the star is leaning into the baggy jeans trend, as she also sported a wide-legged look the day before while stepping out in Soho. Lopez debuted another denim and blazer combo, this time opting for a white jacket with cutouts on the sleeves. She wore the white blazer open to show off a white crop top underneath and her high-rise oversized jeans. Sky-high white sandal heels, large silver hoops, tinted aviators, and a sleek ballerina bun gave the outfit a J.Lo twist.
