Sharing an Instagram video message to get her point across, Lopez, 55, stated, "If we all vote, we can determine the direction of our country and create a better future for our communities."
"Your vote is your voice and your power, and our voices are louder together," she continued. "But the only way your voice can be heard is if you're registered to vote."
J. Lo, a co-chair for the When We All Vote initiative, further encouraged her followers, "Let's get loud"—an apparent reference to her 1999 hit song of the same title.
"Let's get loud and make sure every voice is heard this election ✨🗳️," she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post on Thursday, Oct. 10.
Lopez's fans didn't waste any time in showering the "Jenny from the Block" singer with praise for the important message, including one Instagram user who said the reminder was much "needed."
"So ready to get loud & vote!" another one of her followers exclaimed.
"What a woman you are❤️ you are glowing Jen✨," someone else wrote about the Shotgun Wedding star, who is currently in the middle of a divorce from Ben Affleck.
"Let’s get loud ❤️ yesss. You look so amazing Jen," another person added.
