Jennifer Lopez Says Her "Heart and Soul Are Intact" in 2024 Recap Video

Jennifer Lopez is getting ready for the New Year. But first, she's looking back on a very busy 2024 with an Instagram reel made up of personal and professional clips from the past year, including snippets from her film This Is Me...Now, her documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, interviews, her film Unstoppable, premieres, home videos, and more. One notable exception from the video is Ben Affleck, from whom Lopez announced her split earlier this year. Instead, Lopez kept the video positive and chose to to focus on her work and personal successes.

Pulling from various interviews and videos from the past year, Lopez's voiceover proclaimed that she's learned to processes emotions in healthy way this year. "In my low moments I've learned to just feel the feelings and then let them go," she said.

She went on, "I can sit here with my heart and soul intact and still feel really full of love."

In a message of hope for the year to come, she said in another clip, "What a journey this has been. I honestly feel that the best is yet to come," and, in another, "It's going to get better and it always does. It's a beautiful life in that way."

Lopez filed for divorce in August on her second wedding anniversary. According to an insider, she is now "focused on her own life". "She has had a rough year but is doing well," an insider told People. "She's ready for Christmas and to start the new year fresh."

Although Lopez's split from Affleck may have made this year a difficult one, as Lopez's latest video proves, she has plenty to be proud of. She made an epic musical film with This Is Me...Now and also starred in Unstoppable.

Lopez has spent the holiday season with her daughter, Emme, her sister, Lynda, and her niece, Lucie, skiing in Aspen—and, naturally, wearing a range of on point ski-chic looks.
