As tributes continue to pour out for beloved hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, one celebrity has joined the chorus with a heartbreaking Instagram post: Jennifer Lopez. Taking to the social media app on Tuesday, February 25, the "I'm Real" singer shared a portrait of Guerrero alongside a long, moving caption that described him as "gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful."

"Your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room," Lopez continued. "You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized, your heart and your talent did that as effortlessly as you artistry did. I’ve been having trouble putting the words together the last few days. The truth is I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end. It seems senseless and unfair. I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you."

Lopez then ended her caption on a positive note: "Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light. And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever. Rest in peace, sweet angel… 💔"

Guerrero and Lopez worked together on a number of show-stopping beauty moments, including the time she stepped out in a disco ball-inspired revenge dress following her split from Ben Affleck. Guerrero also styled her hair for her Interview Magazine cover shoot last October and her Elle cover at the tail end of 2023.

The pair were in Dubai together for a business trip shortly before Guerrero's death. The cause, however, is unknown. His family shared the news of his passing on Sunday, February 23.
