A girl's trip to a Chippendales show turned into a relationship-defining moment for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Jennifer Affleck.

On a girl's trip to Las Vegas in celebration of Layla Taylor's 23rd birthday, Jessi Ngatikaura sets up a surprise outing for her fellow members of "MomTok" — the online community launched by a group of Mormon influencers in Utah and now chronicled in the new Hulu show.

Never did Jessi expect that for some of the women, the evening would create strain in their home lives.

"Hopefully, husbands don't kill me when they find out, but I think it's going to be a fun thing for us all to do together," Jessi teases as the excited women ride on a party bus.

As the women pull up to Chippendales, some of them begin to cheer while one asks, "What is Chippendales?"

In a confessional, Jennifer says she "should have known" where the night would go and declares, "I'm screwed."

The women walk in and are taken backstage to meet the Chippendales performers. The VIP package is exciting for some of the ladies, but the more conservative members of MomTok are definitely uncomfortable.

"I really don't know what to do with myself. Let's try not to make any eye contact. Let's look at the floor and just get through this," she says in her confessional. As the women start to help the dancers spread baby oil on their chests, Jennifer continues, "Girls, what are we doing? We are married women! Why are we rubbing oil on these men? Oh my gosh!"

As some of the women laugh and play around with the dancer, Mikayla Matthews is seen telling Taylor Frankie Paul and Jennifer, "I've never been more uncomfortable in my life."

The group poses for a photo with the men, at which point she tells the other women, "I'm literally shaking right now."

"For us to go meet the male strippers themselves, just standing there I'm already feeling guilty. Now we're taking a picture with them?"

Jennifer tells the women it "looks bad," and she clearly becomes uncomfortable.

"I definitely think this goes against everything we believe in as Mormons. I think it's disrespectful to my husband, it's disrespectful to our marriage. Even though this is all a joke, I feel like from the church's standpoint, it looks really bad."

As they sit and wait for the show to start, Jennifer tells Mayci that if anyone tries to touch her, she will leave.

"I literally will be a divorced woman. I'm not even kidding. I'm not even just jokingly saying that. I'm literally telling you Zac would literally divorce me over something like this."

Jessi defends her plans for the night in a confessional, saying it's “fun and innocent” and says, “If any husband have weird reactions, then I feel like there’s something missing in that relationship, because I know my husband isn't gonna care."

Demi adds "it is a little alarming to me," how worried Jennifer is about Zac.

“It's so strange to me. You can have fun with your girls and go out and wear what you want to wear and be completely loyal to your husband," she says.

After Jennifer sends her husband a message letting him know she's at the show, he calls her, clearly upset, which leads her to tears.

"Can you just stop for a second and think about me as a person and my character?" she sobs. Begging, she adds, "Can you just think about me please? I did nothing wrong in this situation."

Crying as he hangs up, she tells Taylor, “He said he doesn’t want to be married to me if I do stuff like this.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres on Friday, Sept. 6 on Hulu.
