I'm Truly Obsessed With Jenna Ortega Carrying Purses Inspired By Iconic "Beetlejuice" Props

Jenna Ortega has been absolutely slaying the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice promotional tour.

She's taken inspiration from the iconic costumes of the original 1988 film, such as stepping out in a modern take on Winona Ryder's plaid skirt look.

Just yesterday, at the Venice Film Festival, she donned what appeared to be an homage to Ryder's beloved red wedding dress.

And those are just two examples. Ortega kept the reference dressing going on Thursday at the UK premiere.

This time, though, her Harris Reed gown wasn't the homage. It was her purse.

Ortega carried an Ozias purse in the shape of the iconic home featured in both films.

In the first film, Lydia Deetz (Ryder), her father Charles (Jeffrey Jones), and her stepmother Delia (Catherine O'Hara) move into a home haunted by the deceased couple and former residents Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) Maitland.

The home also plays a prominent role in the sequel, with all three Deetz women traveling there following a tragedy. As expected, Betelgeuse (Michael Keaton) is summoned again.

The Ozias brand, led by designer Marc Ozias, toasted Ortega carrying the bag to the UK premiere in an Instagram post.

"I knew I wanted to recreate the iconic Beetlejuice house no matter how challenging it would be. And the result will forever remain in my heart and in the heart of my brand," Ozias said, in part.

Ortega has been carrying Ozias bags throughout the tour, including one in Venice inspired by Betelgeuse's striped suit.

A few days before, Ortega carried an Ozias bag in New York shaped like a how-to book. The title Handbag for the Recently Deceased was sprawled across the front of the bag. This is, of course, a reference to the book Handbook for the Recently Deceased that the Maitlands find in the first film.

"In November last year I decided to incorporate my passion for Pop Culture into my work and into the spirit of my brand. At the time, all I wanted was to pay tribute to this culture I have loved my entire life, but now, seeing the work we have done with @jennaortega and her team all over the internet and social media, I feel like we get to be part of Pop Culture," Ozias said on Instagram after Ortega carried the handbook handbag.

"I have no words to express how grateful I am and the biggest lesson I have learned is that things work when you decide to do what you really love. ❤️," they continued.

How sweet is that? Here's hoping more handbags inspired by the film are on the horizon. Tell us in the comments below which bag is your favorite!
