James Corden has joked that his wife probably looks at him and thinks she made a "huge mistake".
The Late Late Show host, 44, tied the knot with Julia Carey in 2012 and the couple have three children together.
Talking on Good Morning Britain about meeting her, Corden said: "I absolutely knew minute one that I couldn’t do any better than this.
"When I met Jules… It's a miracle."
He quipped: "Every day she must just look at me… ‘What did I do? It’s a huge mistake!’”
The star also told how he can’t wait to return to the UK after his years in Los Angeles.
Corden has been across the pond for The Late Late Show, which he has hosted since 2015, but has announced that he will be leaving next year.
Asked how it felt to be coming back home, the Gavin And Stacey star said: “I love where we live, I love being in Los Angeles…
"I love it but we always knew it was an adventure and not a final destination.
“This place is amazing, this little island. The things it’s created, the things it’s given the world.
"I’ve always been very proud to call it home.”
He admitted that it would be "really emotional" leaving the US talk show.
"It’s going to be a real thing to draw it to a close," he said. "I’m so proud of what we’ve done.”
Corden has been in the headlines in recent days, after he was accused of treating waiters badly at Balthazar restaurant in New York.
Owner Keith McNally initially banned the comedian and actor from the eatery but he revoked the ban when Corden apologised.
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am on ITV and ITV Hub.
