Jake Gyllenhaal and Girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu Twin in Ties for Date Night at “Road House” U.K. Screening

The couple were out in London on Thursday at a special screening of his film 'Road House,' which premieres March 21 on Prime Video

Jake Gyllenhaal is getting support from girlfriend Jeanne Cadieu as he continues to promote his newest project.

The couple stepped out Thursday night to attend a U.K. screening of his film Road House, where they smiled as they posed for photos together at the Curzon Mayfair in London.

Gyllenhaal, 43, rocked a tweed-style tan suit over a crisp white shirt and burgundy tie. His girlfriend boasted a black-and-white menswear look, complete with black trousers and a black tie that adorned a white shirt of her own, with short sleeves featuring floral-like embellishments.

The two could be seen chatting and smiling on the red carpet ahead of the screening, with neon-style Road House signage behind them.

Gyllenhaal has been in a years-long relationship with Cadieu, a French model. And back in September 2023, the actor said their relationship has evolved since those early days.

“It's all about growing together and listening and being open. It's really not much different from any relationship when it works,” Gyllenhaal told PEOPLE at the time.

While he and Cadieu have kept their relationship largely private, save for select public appearances such as at last summer’s French Open and on the red carpet for his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal’s directorial debut The Lost Daughter, he said the couple does what feels natural for them.

“It's no secret that I'm in a relationship and it's a wonderful relationship,” Gyllenhaal explained. “We are private, but I guess we are who we are. We're just living our lives. We always have. And I love that people are interested, but at the same time, it's like what's ours is ours.”

During Road House's world premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, on March 8, Gyllenhaal revealed to PEOPLE that training for his role as Elwood Dalton in the remake of the 1989 hit "took a village" to make possible.

"Ten years ago, I made Southpaw, which is another fight movie, and I was in a different place," he explained. "My body was, I knew that I needed help with nutrition and I knew I needed to keep myself safe from injury and I needed to also be able to have the aesthetics of the whole role."

"So balancing all that took a group of people helping me all the time," Gyllenhaal added.

Road House is on Prime Video March 21.
