J.Lo trying to buy LA's Azria Estate amid Ben Affleck divorce

NEW YORK — Jennifer Lopez is throwing her hat in the ring to purchase Los Angeles’ famed Azria Estate, less than a month after filing to divorce Ben Affleck.

The Bronx-born pop star, 55, bid on the 30,000-square-foot Holmby Hills property — previously home to late fashion designer and BCBG founder Max Azria — lowballing for $30 million to $39 million, sources with direct knowledge told TMZ.

Part of Lopez’s recent Netflix hit “Atlas” was also filmed at the 14-bedroom mansion.

Even the $55 million asking price for the sprawling 3-acre property is a far cry from the $68 million price Lopez and Affleck, 52, put on their Beverly Hills mansion in July. News that the A-listers were selling their marital home broke the month prior, when they were asking for “around $65 million,” $5 million more than they purchased it for.

The “Hustlers” star is currently trying to negotiate with both Azria’s widow, Lubov Azria, and billionaire Ron Burkle, insiders told the outlet.

The two have been at odds since May, when the auction for the estate ended with Burkle’s winning $30 million bid. The following month, Burkle sued Azria for breach of contract, alleging she’s changed the terms of the sale, per real estate outlet The Real Deal. Azria meanwhile alleges that Burkle is the one trying to change up the deal.

Back on her birthday in late July, Lopez finalized the sale of her New York City penthouse. That also marked the day that Affleck closed escrow on his own new $20.5 million Tinseltown estate, after having moved out of the Beverly Hills mansion in June.
