Star's naked dress turns heads on red carpet

And Italian pop star has channeled her inner stripper and set tongues wagging with a daring red carpet look at the Rome premiere of Hustlers.

Roshelle, who starred on the country’s version of X-Factor, left very little to the imagination with a completely sheer dress of a chain-like material that barely covered her boobs, wearing nothing but a golden thong underneath.

Despite the limited coverage, the 24-year-old, who came fourth in Italy’s tenth season of X Factor, exuded confidence.

After releasing an EP in 2016, she now has 340,000 followers on Instagram.

Of course this daring look is not new, the naked dress trend taking over Instagram, red carpets and fashion runways for the past year.

The Venice Film Festival red carpet this year saw an array of stars step out in Italy with the mentality that less is more in terms of nailing the style stakes, while Paris Fashion Week 2019 also saw one designer send models out onto the catwalk wearing completely sheer catsuits.

And the trend isn’t just reserved for actual clothes either, with naked bikinis also sweeping across Instagram.

Nude coloured bikinis have been doing the rounds over the past couple of months, with women closely matching the shade of their swimwear to their skin tone, to create the illusion of looking naked.

Sure, it’s quite clear when you look properly that these women are not naked - but to the average beach-goer with the sun in their eyes, these togs definitely warrant a double-take.
