Yahoo Lifestyle Ireland Baldwin shared risqué photos on Instagram. Mom Kim Basinger seemingly isn’t thrilled.
Ireland Baldwin might think she's the type of girl to bring home to mom, but her own seems to disagree.
The 25-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger posted a couple of risqué photos to her Instagram on Thursday where she's wearing just underwear and over-the-knee boots. And while the topless photos are censored with a black bar, Basinger seemingly didn't approve.
"The type uh girl you take home 2 mother," Ireland captioned the photos, to which Basinger quickly responded, "Or you don't even bring her home to her OWN MOTHER...after that." Basinger also included an angry face emoji and a heart.
Others commented to assure the young woman that they would love for her to meet the family, while one person even praised the photos as "powerful" and "gorgeous." Still, Ireland couldn't go without some criticism as one person commented "someone needs attention."
"Sex positive and proud of my body," Ireland quickly refuted. "Try dancing around naked in thigh highs sometime. It's fun."
The photos aren't unlike those that already fill Ireland's feed, nor is the commentary from her parents. Back in May she posted photos of her in a bikini while sitting on her bathtub and wrote, "psa: it's incredibly freeing to stop worrying about what others think of you and being imprisioned by constantly thinking of what you can do to make people like you!!"
Alec responded to the images with a simple, "no."
Still, it doesn't seem that the one-off comments from her parents will stop Ireland from posting the content that she likes, especially with the help of her supporters. "The most hilarious, free, soulful, funny, expressive free person, gorgeous of course, the list goes on," a follower wrote in response to Basinger's latest. "Amazing daughter that you raised."
