The iPhone trick you’ll kick yourself for not knowing

You know that feeling when you’ve just typed a monster text and find you’ve got a few typos that you then need to painstakingly go through and fix before sending?

Well, apparently we’ve been making it a lot harder for ourselves than it has to be, as one woman shared on Facebook.

Say goodbye to having to try and move the cursor to the right spot in order to fix a word. Because there is a much easier way!

“How have I never known this,” the woman shared, alongside an image of an iPhone text message screenshot.

The image explained: ‘If you click and hold the spacebar, you can move the cursor instead of trying to drag the cursor itself with your fat thumb.’

It quickly became clear that the woman’s discovery was one that not many others knew about.

The post has since been shared over 250,000 times, gaining over 30,000 comments.

Ok mind blown,” one person wrote.

“Never knew that!! Life is a lot easier now,” another replied.

“This changes everything,” was another comment.

Some even tested the theory straight away.

I’m just trying to figure out if this is true while writing this statement,” one person commented.

Hello, I am commenting on this just to see if it works. Oh yay wow that is wonderful okay thank you for sharing,” was another test comment.

And yes we tried it ourselves on an iPhone 8 plus and it worked a treat.
