Instagram star's embarrassing gaffe

Instagram cleaning queen Mrs Hinch has made a rather embarrassing gaffe while talking about some products with her 1.8 million followers.

Mrs Hinch – Sophie Hinchcliffe – is currently pregnant and was taking her followers through some of the products she planned to use.

But while chatting in a video shared to her Instagram stories, the 28-year-old picked up Weleda Perineum Massage Oil and said she would “give this one a go” seemingly not realising what the word meant.

“I’ve got a little collection [of oils and creams] going on, I’ve been giving bump a little massage,” she said in the clip.

“These are all different skin and stretch marks creams. I’ve been told these are really good for your skin. This is my collection I’ve got so far.”

The perineum however is nowhere near the baby bump, instead it separates the anus and vagina. The aim of the oil is to increase skin elasticity in the area prior to giving birth.

When she finally realised, she shared the mishap with her fans, admitting she had no idea what the word meant.

“My mum phoned me and told me,” she wrote in a follow up story.

“I then checked my DMs and all I could see was laughing emojis, I knew then something was wrong.”

She says she had to put the word into Google to figure out what it meant.
