Insane TikTok hack removes price sticker in one move
There is nothing quite so grating to the soul as attempting to remove a price sticker, only to have it come apart before your eyes. The adhesive clings to the object like a mollusc to a rock, leaving a powdery, flaky scrap of miscellaneous paper stuck to your item for life.
It might be a glass, a candle, even a vacuum cleaner, all you know is that once the sticker is incorrectly removed those white streaks are there for life, eagerly sweeping wayward bits of dirt or debris into its eternally-sticky embrace.
So it goes without saying that if there’s a way to avoid this sticky, sad fate with 100% certainty we should be heralding it from every street corner, shouting from the roofs etc.

Well, consider the news, heralded – a TikTok user has cracked the code and we’re here to share it with you.
User Lexie Byers is the lady behind the earth-shattering hack that was shared to her TikTok account earlier this month.
The video, called ‘HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS, has been viewed a whopping 5.6 million times since.
Sticker hack explained
“Anything with a sticker tag STOP PEELING IT OFF,” Lexie commands her followers in the video, after explaining the hack ‘blew her mind’ when her mum explained it to her days before.
Taking a stack of plastic cups with barcodes on the bottoms, she demonstrates the clever trick.
“Grab some tape, get a piece maybe this big, take your piece and stick half of it onto the tag and rub it so it’s really on there,” she said.
“Make sure to leave a little bit of a tail, then you wax it off.”
“Then you can peel it off and do it all over again. Brilliant.”
While talking she demonstrates the trick, deftly removing each sticker with a sharp gesture, and looking about as stoked as we felt watching it.
Needless to say, the comments were dripping in awe and gratitude, and no doubt sticky tape sales will experience a surge in coming hours.
