'I'm out': Are MAFS' Heidi and Mike finally over?

Tensions are running high on Married at First Sight after Sunday’s commitment ceremony.

While things appeared to end well between Heidi and Mike after they put their towel argument to bed, it seems we haven’t seen the end of their relationship woes.

This week, the couples will be hosting their families in Sydney, and 44-year-old Mike snaps when speaking about the state of his relationship.

“If this is marriage, I don’t want it,” he says in the promo for Monday’s instalment, “I’m out.”

The couple have been teetering on the edge of a breakup for weeks, but this public snap in front of Mike’s parents doesn’t bode well for their future.

In an interview with 9Now earlier this month, Mike pushed all the blame for their flailing relationship back onto Heidi.

“I felt as though no matter what I’d done or who I was or what I’d said, no man stood a chance,” he said.

“It was far more difficult than what it should have been,” he claimed. “I’m falling for this amazing woman and there were just endless distractions that stopped us from really getting that flow.”

Meanwhile, as Heidi and Mike move further and further apart, we can expect to see Jess and Dan take their relationship to the next level, as they share a secret kiss in the same promo. More drama to come.
