I’m A Celebrity 2022 favourite revealed to take out winning crown

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off this week on Monday night, but it seems as though the winner may have already been revealed.

Just a few days in, betting agencies may have spilled on the eventual winner and if you watched any reality shows last year, you'll know they are rarely wrong!

The show was secretly filmed in northern New South Wales in September last year and if Sportsbet is anything to go off, we have a clear winner in radio and TV host Dylan Lewis, who's currently sitting at $2.50.

This year, the show was filmed in advance for the second time due to the pandemic with contestants eliminated based on their performance, not by viewers votes.

However, the eventual winner will be chosen by viewer votes in a live finale, getting fans involved once again. So, while it's not certain Dylan will take out the crown, it does seem likely he'll make it into the top three.

MasterChef's Poh Ling Yeow is currently sitting in second on Sportsbet at $3.50, followed closely by AFL star Nathan Buckley at $4.00.

Country singer Brooke McClymont is currently sitting at $6.00, then we have a huge jump with David Subritzky and Emily Seebohm at $11.00, Derek Kickett and Joey Essex at $13.00, Cal Wilson at $15.00 and Davina Rankin and Maria Thattil at $17.00.

In another first, the producers introduced a fake celebrity known as The David (real name David Subritzky), who is part of a challenge for Poh Ling Yeow.

Hosts Julia Morris and Dr Chris Brown tasked Poh with the challenge of convincing the other campmates that The David is a real influencer in order to win food for the celebs.

On the show, David is posing as a shoe designer and influencer with millions of followers.

Viewers have been loving the twist, and while he might be a 'fake' influencer, David does have some experience with reality TV through as his sister is former Big Brother Australia star Layla Subritzky, who appeared on the show in 2012 and placed second.
