If you haven’t heard of the brand before, it’s favoured among celebrities, featuring on many a popular Instagram feed - particularly the Gypsy Water perfume.

The scents are so in right now, people are willing to shell out hundreds of dollars - specifically $110 for the candles and up to $435 for a bottle of perfume.

Others were quick to leave comments on the clip also sharing their love for the new range.

“They look beautiful,” one person wrote.

While another said: “I just picked up 7!”

Ikea creative leader James Futcher said in a statement the collection was designed so customers could mix and match “to make their own personal scent”.

“We made 13 that work on their own but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t mix and match them if that creates a good feeling for you,” he said.

Surveys show that smell is the sense that we most associate with home, and that over 40 per cent of people think their homes have their own, recognisable scent.

IKEA explained to help develop the fragrances they brought in students from the Royal College of Art to explore the potential of invisible design – the idea that it’s not just what your home looks like that affects how it makes you feel.

OSYNLIG is Swedish for ‘invisible’, with Byredo founder Ben Gorham adding “The way your home smells is very emotional and plays a huge part in how you feel being there.”

The candles are now available across IKEA stores however people need to get in quick as stocks are very limited.

If you do miss out on the bargain range at IKEA, there are ways to get your hands on some of the popular candles at a slightly discounted rate through catch.com.au.
