Howie Mandel blames weed gummies, not alcohol, for wife's Las Vegas fall
The "AGT" judge is correcting the story.
Howie Mandel is correcting one key detail about his wife's recent gruesome fall in Las Vegas. The America's Got Talent judge told a horrifying story on Live with Kelly and Mark on Monday about finding his wife, Terry, in a pool of blood in their Las Vegas hotel room recently.
"We partied. It was too much. She was tipsy. I did not know that, and in the middle of the night she got up and, I don't know where she was headed, but she headed into the wall. She fell and hit the wainscoting," Mandel told the talk show hosts. "She hit that as she went down. She slipped, went down, hit that on her eye, fell on the floor, and broke her cheek."
Now, he's correcting one part of the story. Mandel told TMZ in an interview published the following day that his wife had eaten pot gummies before the fall but wasn't drunk.

"She doesn't have an alcohol problem," Mandel said. "I'm gonna tell you the truth: She took gummies. So, it's not an alcohol problem. She was on pot."
The Deal or No Deal host went on to say that Terry was worried people would try to intervene with her alcohol intake after hearing the story. Mandel said he wanted to share the story because of how much it scared him in the moment.
"I picked her up, I put her on the bed, there's blood everywhere. I went and grabbed all the towels, all the towels are covered with blood," he recalled on Live. "I saw her head, and you could actually see her skull. It opened up. I freaked."
Mandel called for assistance, and his wife thankfully recovered in the hospital.
