Horror as man stabbed in the head
A teenager has been arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed multiple times in the head.
Emergency services rushed to a unit on Sir Thomas Mitchell Road in Chester Hill in western Sydney just after 12.30pm on Wednesday after receiving reports about a stabbing.
Police discovered a 46-year-old who was bleeding due to a wound on his head.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene for stab wounds to his neck, face and head before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
“The injuries are not considered to be life-threatening,” a police spokesperson said.
A NSW Police spokesperson said inquiries were continuing.
Officers later arrested a 19-year-old man on nearby Orchard Rd and have taken him to Bankstown Police Station.
A crime scene has been established and police have appealed to anyone who may have information or any available footage to come forward.
