Home and Away's Sam Frost reportedly dating on-screen lover

Home and Away's Sam Frost and Tim Franklin have reportedly taken their on-screen romance into the real world, with a show insider revealing the pair is very much together.

According to Woman's Day, the pair's on-screen chemistry is down to the fact they're together in real life.

The insider told the magazine that Tim and Sam have been dating for some time and that "they're obsessed with each other".

"They've been seeing each other in secret for months, but Sam's wanted it kept on the down low after the horrendous split with Dave [Bashford] last year," the source revealed.

"She's smitten, and she really wants them to be the next big TV couple."

It was revealed in January that Sam and Dave had split with the insider adding, "It all became too much for Sam who was going through a lot. Her career was taking a new path and her mental health was definitely not where it needed to be."

"When things are good, they're both very happy, but the lows are bad. They argue over trivial things."

Sam officially broke her silence on the split earlier this month with a post to Instagram where she joked that she and her dogs were taking part in the TikTok 'couple challenge'.

She added the hashtag "#31singleandfabulous", which says it all.

Sam's last post with Dave was in September last year as the pair attended a wedding together.

In April, however, Tim shared a photo of himself and a woman featuring the caption, "You’re a babe! If you were a president you’d be called baberaham Lincoln."

Sam has previously spoken about being in an abusive relationship, taking to her website Believe by Sam Frost to explain the ex in question “ruined me and he loved it”.

Sam said it wasn’t until she visited a psychologist that she realised how toxic and emotionally abusive the relationship was, and that she deserved better.

“After a few weeks of listening to the problems in my relationship, my psychologist gently told me I was in an abusive relationship,” Sam wrote.

“The irony of that discovery, is that my partner at the time made me feel like I was completely mentally unstable, he repeatably told me I needed ‘serious help’ and I finally did, which prompted the beginning of the end.”
