Highlights from Toteme's first ever fashion show
Despite Swedish label Toteme being incredibly beloved in the fashion industry, and super successful with customers across the globe, the brand had, until yesterday, never actually staged a fashion show. Well, that all changed on Monday as the house decamped to Paris to show its autumn/winter 2024 collection, hosting its first catwalk extravaganza for editors and influencers who were already in town for Couture.
Known for its high-end take on basics and capsule classics, Toteme has become a real favourite for chic accessories, simple knitwear, beautiful coats and easy-to-wear separates. In a world hooked on Quiet Luxury, there is no surprise that it is quite so popular.
"The AW24 collection focuses on a tapered silhouette," Elin Kling, co-founder and creative director, said in her show notes of the new season. "There’s a sense of strength in the shoulders that tapers to the ankle, with a sharp point at the shoe. Designed for real-life situations, the collection comprises a highly curated edit that explores and consolidates the Toteme codes. Ultimately, the collection comprises the perfect combination of styles for a refined look."
Below, see highlights from the catwalk, which included pointy wedge mules, a great day clutch, beautiful draped dresses and oversized coats.
