Soooooo, Taylor Swift missed two Chiefs games in a row and the internet proceeded to lose all chill, devolving into (incorrect/unserious) theories that they've broken up. Which, nope. Taylor is simply getting ready for the Eras Tour—and also prefers to attend home games at Arrowhead Stadium for completely valid security reasons.
And despite the rumors, multiple sources have confirmed that Taylor and Travis are still very much together—including an Us Weekly insider who says “nothing has changed” for the couple, who are "spending as much time together as possible while balancing their careers and individual responsibilities—his game and her music empire, along with personal projects."
As for how T&T feel about ongoing breakup speculation, the anon source says they're "choosing not to dwell on the noise, focusing instead on staying true to themselves and being happy. They simply shrug off the stories. They see it as just another example of the press lifting someone up only to tear them down."
Taylor kicks off her final U.S. dates of the Eras Tour in Miami on October 18, while Travis is playing a game pretty much every week from now until February. As the source put it, "Their schedules are going to be getting super busy so Taylor has been enjoying a few more days of freedom before her upcoming shows."
The Eras Tour wraps up in December (end of a literal era!), which means Taylor will presumably be able to attend Travis' final games of the season as well as the Super Bowl—if the Chiefs make it. Check out where their schedules overlap...
