Last week, breakup rumors emerged between Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan, leaving fans confused and saying please, please, please don't let the rumors be true.

The pair have been linked since December after appearing to meet at a fashion show last fall.

They made their relationship public in February when they were seen together at a Grammys afterparty and have only gone from strength to strength since, with Barry joining Sabrina at the Met Gala in May and even appearing as her love interest in the "Please Please Please" music video in June.

On Friday, Instagram gossip blog Deuxmoi reported that the two "broke up," citing an anonymous source.

While neither Barry nor Sabrina directly addressed the report, Barry was seen liking one of Sabrina's Instagram posts, seemingly suggesting the rumors were untrue.

But! Maybe not. Earlier today, a source told People that Sabrina and Barry's relationship is generally "on and off."
