The Entire Cast Of "Addams Family" Reunited At 2024 LA Comic Con, And Yes, They're Still Mysterious And Spooky
Hi, I'm Myke, a writer obsessed with TV, movies, anime, and video games. So, of course, when I went to Los Angeles Comic Con, I had to return and share what happened to the BuzzFeed Community.
If you're thinking, "Wait, there's more than one Comic Con?" you'll be shocked to learn there are a bunch of cons in Canada, Brazil, and all over the United States, including New York, Texas, Oregon, Florida, Pennsylvania, and more. Luckily, in southern California, there are Comic Cons in San Diego and Los Angeles!
Dozens of fans cosplayed as TV, movie, and comic book characters.
It wouldn't be LA Comic Con without a bunch of X-Men characters (mostly Wolverines), right? #Xmen #ComicCon pic.twitter.com/mQ7tUMFLUz

Some people went above and beyond with cool additions like this adorable droid that actual interacted with other guests.

But, hands down one of the best parts were the panels filled with reunions and nostalgic moments.
Ewan McGregor, who starred in the Star Wars prequel films and the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, explained a hilarious BTS story about how he pretended to carry a baby Luke while riding an eopie (which was actually just a gym horse and a bunch of blue screens).

Rosario Dawson, who played Anakin's former padawan turned Jedi ronin, Ahsoka Tano, was there...

...also the cast of The Mandalorian including Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon), Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand), Emily Swallow (The Armorer), and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Captain Carson Teva)...
...and, Harvey Guillén (Guillermo de la Cruz) and Kristen Schaal (The Guide) from What We Do in the Shadows.
But, the best part of the three-day event was the nostalgic reunions. They celebrated two major reunions this year: Back to the Future and The Addams Family.

Almost 40 years ago, we were introduced to Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly) and Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Emmett Brown) as the zany time-traveling duo in a DeLorean:
The highlight of my time at Comic Con was The Addams Family reunion. The entire family including Anjelica Huston (Morticia), Christopher Lloyd (Uncle Fester), Christina Ricci (Wednesday), Jimmy Workman (Pugsley), and Carel Struycken (Lurch) was back together again after their two films premiered over 30 years ago.
Not in attendance was Raul Julia (who played Gomez Addams). Raul died from stomach cancer and a stroke on Oct. 24, 1994.
Anjelica, who played his wife in the films, recalled fond memories of working alongside him. "He was always the first on set and the last to leave. He was a great dancer," she said.
"I'd get really grumpy around dancing rehearsals, which I felt were unnecessary since I was such an excellent dancer. But he would insist on being there and staying all the way through," she added.
Christopher added that Raul "had a big, big heart, very warm person. He was very loving."
Christina, who appeared in a Netflix Wednesday series inspired by her character in the 1991 adaptation, also shared a memory. "I remember showing my son The Addams Family when he was 6, and he just kept looking at me and saying, 'Oh mom, you're so naughty,'" she said. "Like he was thrilled that all these people were so naughty that he couldn't believe it."
Los Angeles Comic Con brought their A-game this year. I was overwhelmed with nostalgia and feel-good moments, witnessing so many iconic actors looking back at their unforgettable characters.
My inner child, my inner geek, and my TV, movies, anime, and video games soul had the time of their lives. Thank you, LA Comic Con!
