When it comes to Halloween costumes, nobody does it better than Heidi Klum.
Now she’s letting fans get a sneak peek at her latest over-the-top creation, which she’ll reveal in full on the morning of Oct. 31 from the window of the Amazon store on 34th Street in New York City.
The German supermodel is once again bringing out the big guns, enlisting prosthetic makeup designer Mike Marino, who has worked on films like Black Swan and I Am Legend.
In a video posted to Klum’s Instagram account on Wednesday, Marino can be seen sculpting a mysterious mould that’s bound to be all the rage come Halloween. But what is it?
Heidi’s fans have some guesses. Given the figure’s curved headpiece, many have speculated that she’ll be suiting up as an alien — specifically a “Conehead” from Saturday Night Live fame.
Marie Antoinette, Cleopatra, and Lady Liberty have also been thrown out there, as has the spooky suggestion of Frankenstein’s Bride.
Heidi Klum’s Halloween prep starts early
The 46-year-old had already started prepping her 2019 look back in August, an impressive two months early, teasing fans with an early sneak peak.
In the video, the mother-of-four can be seen keeping extremely still in a crouched position wearing nothing but her underwear and a pair of heels.
Meanwhile, a technician appears to be capturing her measurements with a handheld optical scanner - a sure-fire sign that we can expect some creative prosthetics.
Heidi Klum the queen of Halloween
She’s been Betty Boop, Jessica Rabbit, a cadaver, the Garden of Eden’s snake and the apple that tempted Eve, Fiona from Shrek and even herself.
So whatever it is this year, it’s guaranteed to be jaw-dropping.
At least, it had better be, given that Klum — who throws a star-studded Halloween bash each year — will be getting ready for 10 hours, according to her Instagram post.
Give her all the king-size Snickers bars, folks.
